Installation and Commissioning of ICS-17A Electronic Belt Scale and Hidden Chain Code Calibration Device Completed in the Fertilizer Industry

Recently, Guonuo Technology completed the installation and commissioning of two ICS-17A electronic belt scales and hidden chain code calibration devices.

After practical application tests, the results have consistently maintained a precision value of <1.0%, meeting the customer's measurement requirements.

The operability and software management applications of the belt scales also satisfied the user's needs, even exceeding expectations in terms of functionality and performance.

 

The customer's main business is fertilizer production and sales. Due to internal settlement and external sales operations, high precision and stability in electronic belt scale measurements are required.

Additionally, the production site is far from the management office, necessitating the ability for relevant functional personnel to remotely monitor on-site production data and reports from the office.

Regarding the on-site conditions, the two belt conveyors are similar, with long conveyors, suitable belt widths, and essentially no inclination, being relatively flat.

The required electronic belt scales need to have a robust carrying capacity and resistance to eccentric loading, with a long weighing area to accommodate the long conveyor conditions on-site. Given the limited technical proficiency of on-site personnel, the operation and calibration of the electronic belt scales must be simple and straightforward.

When leaders query data from their office computers, they should be able to view both real-time and historical data. Due to limited on-site space, physical calibration is not feasible.

To maintain the precision and stability of the electronic belt scales and facilitate daily calibration, the customer requested that the two electronic belt scales be equipped with calibration devices.

 

Based on the user's requirements and actual on-site application conditions, Guonuo designed the ICS-17A electronic belt scale with a double-lever, four-roller configuration, along with corresponding hidden chain code calibration devices.

The ICS-17A electronic belt scale features four groups of rollers, a long weighing area, and is equipped with two high-precision digital load cells. The double-lever fulcrum design reduces horizontal forces, resulting in a structure with good resistance to eccentric loading and lateral forces, making it durable, resistant to deformation, and minimally affected by belt deviation and material loading, ensuring high measurement precision.

 

To reduce on-site maintenance and operation tasks, the ICS-17A electronic belt scale is equipped with an intelligent instrument featuring a user-friendly interface with Chinese-guided menu prompts, making it easy to operate and master with minimal training. Furthermore, due to the belt scale's performance and structural design, on-site maintenance workloads are minimal.

 

The ICS-17A electronic belt scale is paired with a hidden chain code calibration device, which does not occupy on-site space and facilitates calibration.

The chain code box is installed above, not taking up space. When using the chain code for calibration, the box is opened to release the chain code, which is then retracted after calibration, making the operation simple and convenient.

The chain code can simulate on-site materials, ensuring high calibration precision and effectively maintaining the measurement precision of the electronic belt scale.

 

The overall project construction process was relatively smooth. After arriving on-site, Guonuo's after-sales engineers determined the installation positions for the belt scales and hidden chain codes and formulated a construction plan.

During on-site measurements, an issue was identified where the hidden chain code support was 2 centimeters wider than expected. This was resolved by welding angle iron to fill the gap. After completing the installation of the hidden chain code, instrument, and control cabinet, as well as the electronic belt scale, unified wiring and debugging were carried out.

After on-site debugging, the calibration results exceeded the customer's original requirements. On-site personnel could query data via the instrument, and the data displayed on-site was consistently synchronized with the leader's office system in real-time, facilitating leadership management.

When necessary, relevant personnel could remotely perform parameter settings, calibrations, and other operations.

 

In summary, the installation and commissioning of the ICS-17A electronic belt scale and hidden chain code calibration device in the fertilizer industry have been completed. The customer is highly satisfied with the measurement effectiveness, application operation, management functions, and after-sales service of the electronic belt scale.
