
Recently, Guonuo Technology completed the installation and commissioning of belt scales at Erdos Jintong Mining's coal washing plant, and they have been put into production application. Feedback from on-site application indicates that the measurement accuracy of each belt scale surpasses the required precision, maintaining stable performance over the long term.
They are highly operable, require minimal maintenance, and their data functions meet the application requirements of the coal washing plant. In fact, the client had previously used Guonuo Technology's belt scales at their mine, and due to their excellent performance, high measurement accuracy, stable performance, and good service, the coal washing plant continued to choose Guonuo.

At the coal washing plant site, there are seven belt conveyors with varying inclination angles, lengths, and application spaces. Some are on flat ground, while others have large inclination angles and are located at higher elevations.
Based on the belt conveying conditions, installation locations, and space constraints, Guonuo Technology provided two product solutions for the user. For flat ground conveyors, the more cost-effective ICS-17A belt scales were configured, while for conveyors with large inclinations and limited installation space, the more easily installed modular belt scales were chosen.
Although the ICS-17A belt scales and modular belt scales differ significantly in structure, they both ultimately meet the application requirements of the coal washing plant, playing a crucial role in weighing measurement, raw coal consumption accounting, and production supervision.
The ICS-17A belt scale adopts a double-lever, four-idler, rectangular steel tube structure, equipped with two high-precision load cells.
It offers advantages such as robust load-bearing capacity, a long effective weighing area, strong resistance to eccentric loading, and resistance to lateral forces, enabling it to achieve high measurement accuracy.
Its stability and durability are highly regarded. Due to the lever beam, this scale frame structure has a relatively large volume and is not very convenient to install, but its classic structure offers high cost-effectiveness, making it suitable for flat ground conveyors where installation is convenient.
The modular belt scale, on the other hand, is a new type of weighing unit combination arrangement scale frame.
Each weighing unit consists of two measuring idlers equipped with four high-precision digital load cells, adopting a suspension structure without beams or levers.
Often, a single weighing unit can achieve excellent measurement accuracy and application effects. Multiple weighing units can be freely combined and arranged to meet various high-precision measurement requirements.

Since the modular belt scale lacks beams and levers, its structure is extremely simple and compact, making it easy to install and maintain, and even eliminating the need for daily cleaning. It can accommodate conveyors with large inclinations and limited application space, which is why the coal washing plant chose modular belt scales for its high-elevation conveyors.
