In the production operations of cement plants, accurate weighing and batching of raw materials such as limestone are crucial. Inaccurate weighing can affect the performance and quality of clinker and cement products, as well as impact internal cost accounting within the cement plant.
Therefore, weighing devices in cement plants must not only be efficient but also accurate, stable, reliable, and of high quality. Given the harsh production environment of cement plants, such as dusty conditions and outdoor applications, these factors significantly affect the performance of weighing devices.
Guonuo Technology recently completed the installation and commissioning of electronic belt scales at a cement plant. After a week of actual production application, the belt scales have demonstrated high precision and maintained stability with only basic maintenance, achieving an accuracy of approximately 0.25%.
In summary, Guonuo's electronic belt scales for cement plants have exhibited high precision, stable performance, and real-time, accurate data display on both the instrument and upper computer systems, facilitating on-site data query, production status monitoring, and remote control.
Cement plants have large production volumes and high conveying capacities, with hourly transportation exceeding four thousand tons. The conveyor lines are long and have a certain inclination angle.
Although not entirely outdoors, the production environment is dusty, posing challenges to the operation of electronic belt scales. Based on user requirements and specific on-site conditions, Guonuo designed a high-precision direct weighing scale frame structure, digital high-precision weighing sensors, a dual-wheel structure speed sensor, and a high-performance microcomputer instrument.
The direct weighing scale frame structure was chosen due to its simplicity, lacking levers, pivots, counterweights, or movable parts, thereby minimizing issues related to pivot wear.
With a small horizontal surface area, it accumulates less dust and scattered materials, resulting in minimal zero-point drift.
This structure allows the material weight to be directly applied to the weighing sensor through the weighing roller, reducing intermediate force transmission links. The multi-roller structure provides a long weighing area, meeting the needs for stable high-precision measurement under the on-site environment, production conditions, and conveyor specifications.
Additionally, the weighing sensors utilize digital signals, offering strong anti-interference capabilities, stable and accurate transmission, and features such as temperature compensation, lateral force resistance, and overload protection.
The speed sensor employs an imported Omron encoder core and a DC pulse generator, ensuring a long service life. Its dual-wheel rubber-coated design eliminates belt slippage, ensures consistent contact between the sensor and the belt, avoids skipping, and adapts well to outdoor environments.
The instrument includes online zero-calibration functions to enhance precision and stability. Both sensors and instruments adopt sealed structures, effectively resisting harsh environmental conditions and extending the service life and stability of the belt scale.
The high precision and stability of the electronic belt scale in cement plants are not only due to its inherent performance but also related to design, manufacturing, and installation and commissioning.
Guonuo employs industrial-grade materials and manufacturing processes, undergoing rigorous testing to ensure the quality and performance of the belt scale. Furthermore, the company provides specialized on-site technical support to ensure proper and scientific installation, allowing the belt scale to fully realize its performance and value.
