In production enterprises, weighing large amounts of raw materials and products is a crucial aspect of supervision. However, truck scale systems vary greatly in functionality, with many lacking automation and regulatory means, leading to various issues beyond basic weighing.

 

Analyzing a customer of Guonuo Technology reveals the limitations of traditional truck scales. This customer, a chemical enterprise, installed a truck scale system at its gate to measure incoming, outgoing, and internal materials. Vehicles required manual guidance to the designated weighing area and manual recording. As the production scale expanded, the limitations of this approach became increasingly apparent, severely impacting the enterprise's efficiency.

On one hand, manual guidance and recording for each vehicle result in long weighing times, causing congestion and delays during peak production periods when many vehicles need to be weighed. Moreover, lacking effective regulatory measures for external vehicles and personnel, vehicles often deviate from the designated routes, causing logistics bottlenecks, particularly at the truck scale entrance/exit, and sometimes leading to conflicts.

 

On the other hand, with production expansion, multiple truck scales are needed at various gate and cargo yard entrances/exits, resulting indistribute management and supervision challenges that require multiple personnel for rotating shifts, significantly increasing labor and maintenance costs.

 

Lastly, manual supervision and measurement are prone to human errors or mistakes. Sometimes, the measurer cannot guide the vehicle into position properly, leading to regulatory lapses and enabling cheating behaviors such as vehicles not being fully positioned in the designated area. The low level of informatization means managers cannot access measurement data in real-time, resulting in information lags.

 

As the production scale expands, these issues become more severe. To address them, Guonuo Technology provided the customer with an unattended vehicle scale system, which not only solved the practical weighing problems but also facilitated the enterprise's automation and informatization construction. It improved work efficiency, strengthened supervision, enhanced measurement accuracy, and reduced costs.

 

On one hand, the unattended vehicle scale system utilizes advanced RFID technology and automated gates to automatically identify vehicles and guide drivers to the weighing area through intelligent voice prompts. Data is transmitted and stored on a server in real-time. After weighing, vehicles are directed to exit, with the entire process being automatic and requiring no manual guidance or supervision. This significantly shortens weighing times and resolves issues of long waiting times and logistics congestion.

 

On the other hand, the unattended vehicle scale system is equipped with a video surveillance system and a unified management center for multiple weighing points. This enables centralized and remote management. Additionally, the system features intelligent software self-diagnosis and alarm technologies that automatically trigger alarms in case of abnormalities, enhancing supervision.

 

Finally, the system employs various anti-cheating measures such as infrared and video surveillance to prevent drivers from cheating by manipulating vehicle positioning. The intelligent software system has operation permission management and encryption functions to avoid previous data recording errors and cheating behaviors. Weighing data is uploaded in real-time, allowing managers to view visual reports through the host computer software system, providing strong support for data management and analysis.

 

A comparison of the practical problems faced by a chemical enterprise and the effects after implementing the unattended vehicle scale system demonstrates the system's advantages in enterprise weighing, measurement, and management. It resolves issues that have plagued and restricted the enterprise's development.
