Guonuo High-Precision Belt Scale Introduces New Calibration Method - Automatic Online Calibration Device

Currently, the calibration of belt scales is predominantly performed manually, whether it is through physical calibration or simulated calibration. The drawbacks of manual calibration are quite evident:

(1) It requires a shutdown during operation, affecting production;

(2) Physical calibration demands extensive manual labor each time, consuming a significant amount of time. Although it offers high calibration accuracy, human errors can occur;

(3) Simulated calibration cannot fully replicate the actual material flow conveyance state and fails to overcome the influences of belt tension and mechanical equipment, resulting in low accuracy. Moreover, chain code calibration devices are costly;

(4) Calibration cycles are long, and calibration is typically only performed when fluctuations in the belt scale's measurement results are significant or inaccurate. Even if calibration cycles are specified, manual delays may occur, making it impossible to guarantee timely calibration;

(5) Issues such as belt idling, shutdowns, time-consuming efforts, and high management costs all impact the economic efficiency of enterprises.

To address the challenges in belt scale calibration and the difficulties faced by enterprises when using belt scales, Guonuo has once again upgraded the automation and intelligence features of its high-precision belt scales, introducing a new calibration method - the automatic online calibration device.

 

The Guonuo high-precision belt scale employs an independent weighing unit combination scale frame design, with the entire high-precision measurement system comprising at least one set of weighing units.

When two sets of weighing units are utilized, the automatic online calibration device can be employed to perform calibration without stopping the operation of the belt conveyor, eliminating the need for manual operation and thus avoiding the series of issues associated with manual calibration.

 

The automatic online calibration device of the Guonuo high-precision belt scale adopts advanced technological means to enhance the accuracy and stability of the belt scale's weighing system. In practical applications, this device demonstrates significant characteristics and advantages:

(1) High Accuracy: The automatic online calibration device of the Guonuo high-precision belt scale employs a dual weighing unit measurement comparison method, providing two calibration points and utilizing a dual-weight cumulative superposition approach for calibration. This method essentially eliminates the influence of belt tension, resulting in high calibration accuracy.

(2) During material conveyance, the front and rear weighing units perform real-time comparisons, serve as backups for each other, and conduct real-time monitoring. This enables timely detection of issues. If a fault occurs in one unit, the other can continue to operate while issuing an alarm, preventing the discovery of measurement errors only after weighing is completed, which could have a greater impact.

(3) The calibration conditions of the belt scale are consistent with its actual operating conditions, enabling automatic online calibration of dynamically weighed materials and real-time monitoring of the belt scale's operational accuracy. This greatly ensures production continuity and guarantees the long-term accuracy, stability, and durability of the belt scale.

(4) By continuously collecting and analyzing the operational status of the belt scale, the system automatically initiates the calibration program once a measurement deviation requiring calibration is detected, ensuring timely calibration of the belt scale. This enhances measurement stability and reduces the investment in calibration manpower and time.

(5) The device automatically records calibration data, assisting enterprises in achieving remote monitoring and understanding the equipment's operational status remotely, thereby enabling more effective maintenance and optimization.
