Jinchuan Group is a large-scale non-ferrous metallurgy and chemical joint enterprise with mining, ore processing, smelting, and chemical production capabilities. It produces nickel, platinum, copper, cobalt, rare precious metals, as well as chemical products such as sulfuric acid, caustic soda, liquid chlorine, hydrochloric acid, and sodium sulfite, along with deep-processed products of non-ferrous metals. The production scale is large, the product variety is rich, and the product quality is excellent. In order to achieve higher quality and efficiency in production, Jinchuan Group continuously improves its process equipment and production levels, with a focus on the application of various automation and intelligent production equipment.
As a production measurement device, the electronic belt scale is subject to high requirements at Jinchuan Group's chemical plant. Not only must it have high measurement accuracy, but it also must maintain stability during operation. Due to the large production volume at the chemical plant, especially during periods of high order volume when production needs to be scheduled in shifts, the electronic belt scale must operate continuously while maintaining measurement accuracy and overall stability.
As a measuring instrument, regular calibration of the electronic belt scale is essential. To ensure accuracy and stability, when purchasing electronic belt scales, Jinchuan Group also procures belt scale chain code calibration devices that are easy to operate and have high calibration accuracy.
Jinchuan Group conducted consultations and comparisons among various electronic belt scale manufacturers in the market, considering factors such as product quality, after-sales service, and price. Among them were several well-known enterprises in the measurement industry. Ultimately, they chose GuoNuo Technology. The reasons for choosing us lie in the professionalism of the solutions provided by GuoNuo Technology, the expertise, patience, and meticulousness demonstrated by our service engineers during consultations, as well as the reasonableness of our pricing schemes. Instead of blindly recommending high-priced products, we provided practical and suitable solutions based on actual needs and analyzed alternative product schemes.
Recently, the installation and construction of the electronic belt scale and chain code calibration system at Jinchuan Group's chemical plant have commenced, with on-site personnel providing real-time updates on the installation progress. Despite the cold weather, the atmosphere at the construction site is bustling.
The chemical plant's base is relatively level, which is an advantageous condition for the use of the electronic belt scale. However, thedisadvantage condition is the presence of significant dust at the site. During installation, GuoNuo's engineers leveraged the advantages and mitigated the disadvantages by selecting an indoor horizontal section that is far from other vibrating machinery. Regarding the dust issue, engineers had fully considered it from the design stage. During installation, they chose locations with minimal dust exposure and equipped the instruments with sealed casings to prevent dust ingress and provide rust and corrosion resistance.
A notable highlight of the installation site is the chain code installation accompanying the belt scale. Based on the site's environmental characteristics and customer needs, GuoNuo designed and customized a hidden box chain code. A stainless steel chain code box is installed above the weighing and measuring section of the conveyor belt, utilizing a motor for retraction and release. When the chain code is not needed, it is retracted into the box using the motor. For calibration, the motor is used to place the chain code onto the belt to simulate material transportation. The entire process is convenient and rapid, requiring only one operator to complete, saving time and effort.
After the installation was completed, GuoNuo engineers conducted a calibration demonstration using the chain code. The belt scale demonstrated precise and stable measurement, with a stable speed sensor that did not jump. The calibration accuracy of the chain code was comparable to that of physical calibration, but the operation was much simpler. The retraction and release of the chain code were straightforward, and the entire process was highly automated, saving effort and providing convenience.
