Electronic belt weighers come in various types, among which the ICS belt weigher stands out as a common yet highly functional option. Composed of four core components—weighing module, speed detection unit, computational system, and communication interface—it performs real-time measurement and monitoring of materials on the conveyor belt, securing a pivotal role in industrial weighing equipment. The weighing bridge frame is installed on the conveyor structure. When materials pass over it, their weight is measured. The load cells generate an electrical signal proportional to the detected weight. Simultaneously, the speed sensor, connected to a large-diameter speed measurement roller, produces a pulse signal corresponding to the belt speed. The weighing instrument receives both signals from the load cells and speed sensor, calculates the instantaneous flow rate and cumulative weight through integration, and finally displays these values.
