When installing ICS electronic belt scales, it is essential to avoid positions susceptible to environmental influences. Wind, dust, temperature, and electromagnetic fields can all affect the measurement accuracy of the electronic belt scale.
For instance, heat sources can cause malfunctions in both the belt conveyor and the ICS electronic belt scale. The rationality of the installation directly impacts the subsequent operational stability of the electronic belt scale; in fact, half of the subsequent user experience hinges on proper installation. Guonuo Technology briefly shares some installation precautions for ICS electronic belt scales, emphasizing that the installation focus should be tailored to the actual site conditions.

1. The ICS electronic belt scale should be installed at a location with minimal vibration from the conveyor and away from large mechanical equipment, as vibrations and electromagnetic interference from machinery can disrupt the scale's operation.
2. The ICS electronic belt scale should be installed on a straight section.
3. The weighing bridge should be installed on the straight section near the tail pulley, with a distance from the discharge point of the silo that is no less than 2 to 5 times the distance the belt moves in one second at its rated speed.
4. The support frame of the belt conveyor should possess sufficient rigidity to resist deflection under load.
5. In any longitudinal straight section, the roller track (the device that places the rollers on the belt or loader, i.e., the roller frame) should be aligned in a straight line, and the belt should be steadily supported on the weighing rollers.
6. If a belt cleaning device is installed, it should be accurately positioned and function properly, without causing excessive additional errors due to asymmetrical results.
7. The ICS electronic belt scale should not be installed on conveyors with an inclination angle greater than 16 degrees. The roller track should not cause material slippage (excluding slippage caused by excessive conveyor inclination, roller trough angle, roller spacing, or roller concentricity).
8. The contact surfaces between the side weighing rollers on the ICS electronic belt scale and the conveying rollers on both sides (three to five groups of rollers per side) should be adjusted to lie as much as possible on the same plane. The coplanarity difference between the middle idler and side idlers should not exceed 0.5mm and no more than 0.8mm.
The above are the basic installation precautions for ICS electronic belt scales. Adhering to specifications and details during installation ensures subsequent operational stability and accuracy.
